Congratulations to all you hardy triathletes out there. And thank you to all those who were involved in making sure that the event ran smoothly. A lot of work and time is invested in creating events, and with all money this year raised in sponsorship going to KLB School, there are many grateful people in the community! The next event coming up at Wotton Pool is the swimming gala! This has been scheduled for Sunday 8th July, from 4pm to 6pm. Teams of four can enter, but if you can’t find three fish to accompany you to the races, don’t worry, just turn up and make a team on the spot from the other keen swimmers! Each swimmer pays £1 and can enter as many teams as they like! If you are accompanying friends as chief cheerleader, there will also be a BBQ and the opportunity to get bacon baps, cakes, hot and cold drinks, so there is plenty to keep you going. All ages and abilities of swimmers are very welcome, so grab your kit and join in the fun! Also happening at the pool is a series of trial aquafit classes. This is a session that has had a number of enquiries, and we pleased to be able to offer something different! The classes will cost £4 a session, and will occur weekly with the session on Monday 2nd July starting at 10.30am, but all future classes beginning at 10.00am, until 10 September. Miss Minnow
