Still still open!

Well, we're still open! The astute amongst you (or those with good memories) may remember that we had planned to shut Wotton Pool for the summer season on the 15 September. However, this date has passed, and we are still going strong! After a summer of good weather and lots of swimming, we felt that there has been enough interest in the pool to extend the season (on limited opening hours) until the end of September. We are still running all weekend sessions (Saturday afternoon, 2 - 4 pm, Sunday morning family swimming, 10am - 12, and Sunday afternoon, 2 - 4 pm) as well as the evening lane swimming sessions - weekday evenings from 6.30 - 8.00 pm. We are also continuing our special Friday sessions: adult general swim, 9 - 10 am, swimming for the very young, 10.15 - 11.15, and ladies' water therapy, 11.30 - 12.30. Please keep swimming for another couple of weeks, and lets see just how many swimmers we will have this season (we're on for an increase on last year!). As Wotton Pool Ltd have now been running Wotton Pool for 3 years, it is the time for us to review our performance, our successes, and areas that we still want to improve. We have met with Wotton Town Council at the recent Council meeting. The purpose of the WPL trustees attending the meeting, was to put forward the case for renewing our Service Level Agreement with the Council, in order to secure ongoing financial support for the pool. We also to presented our business plan for the pool for the future. More on that next week! Thanks to all those who came out to support us at the Council meeting, your presence was much appreciated.
