As another week floats by, the start of the swimming season drifts closer, and there is still so much to do! Massive thanks to Magnox North who have donated £1000 to Wotton Pool- your generous donation is hugely appreciated and will be very much needed to get the preseason refurbishment and maintenance covered. Thank you! Company’s house has finally accepted our application, so Wotton-under-Edge Swimming Pool Limited are now officially up and running! (Or should that be swimming?) In the ‘vote yes’ campaign, the Swimming Pool Club were heartened by the huge support from the town and its swimmers. We want you to enjoy your pool, and therefore we are working to ensure that you will get the best user experience possible. The timetable for swimming sessions is soon to be finalised, and we’re keen to make sure they work for you swimmers and spectators. There will also be more than simple public swimming sessions available this summer. If you are a sports club, a group, a society, a swimming teacher, a pupil or any other pool user, there is the potential to book the pool for your use for a regular session. This could be for fitness, for games, for splashing around, and for learning to swim – however you would like to use it!
