An application for permission to construct a new veranda with views looking out towards the Severn, a new shelter and a roof extension as well as other smaller modifications and repairs has been approved by SDC
We are holding our annual public Meeting on Monday 7 November at 7:30 in the Wotton Civic Centre. This is the opportunity for the townsfolk, who contribute (about 25p per week per household) through their council tax to the running costs of the pool, to have their say about how things are going. This year we are planning to give some details about the major refurbishment and minor extension to the changing rooms.
After a splendid summer with lots of public swimming, schools swimming, special sessions (ladies therapeutic, general adult swim and parent and toddler) lanes and swimming lessons. we have closed for the winter. Time to get our winter maintenance done and other long term projects...
After a record breaking August (for number of swims) it is September and we are looking the end of the season full in the face. So get your last swims in now as we will be closing on 18 September.
Back with a vengeance in 2016, the Wotton Triathlon enters its tenth year as one of the most enjoyable grassroots triathlons in the UK.
